Prague Astronomical Clock


What is an astronomical clock? An astronomical clock is a special clock with mechanisms and dials that portrays the positions of the sun and the moon, zodiac constellations and in some cases major planets. As the name implies, the main purpose is to display astronomical data. 
So what is so special about this particular astronomical clock from the Prague? Firstly, It is the third oldest astronomical clock and it is a whopping 605 years old! Secondly, it still works. So this Prague astronomical clock is a masterpiece of excellent and pin point craftsmanship.
